ABOUT THE SERVICE:

1. Can I register as '.com' instead of '.com.my'?
Yes. You can register domain name of any extension of your choice..

2. Can I migrate my website content to your server?

Yes. Once you have subscribed to one of our Web Hosting packages, you will have an FTP access account that allows you to upload your content to our server.

3. I don't want Web hosting. I just want e-mail accounts at my domain. Is it possible?

Yes. We do offer separate e-mail accounts to our customers. The service is available under Corporate Email Plan Package, which entitles you to 10 e-mail accounts and with an option to increase the number of e-mail accounts as and when needed.

4. What if I need more than 100 MB of storage space?
You can buy more additional space. Please check our Incremental Charges page for the pricing. For more information, please contact our Help Desk.

5. I did not specify my e-mail username during registration. Can I specify it later?

Yes, In fact, you can just do it online. Just go to the Customer Login page and login into the Control Panel. Inside the Control Panel, you can specify your e-mail username and password. You can even change your e-mail username and password at any time. To learn more about the Control Panel please read the Inside Preview of the Control Panel.

6. What should I do if I forget my password?

You should first try use our Password Reminder tool that will help you try recalling your forgotten password. If that does not work, you can contact our Help Desk for assistance. Alternatively, you can e-mail webhosting@netmyne.com.

7. Is it possible to get additional e-mail accounts?

Yes, you can buy additional e-mail accounts. Please refer to our Incremental Charges page to view the prices.

8. Do you provide FTP software for your customers?

No, but a lot of FTP client software is available from the Internet for free. You can use search engine to find a site where you can download the software. You can also use the DOS command to the FTP. For more information, please refer to our User Guide after you have logged in.

9. Do you submit/register customers' URLs to search engines?

You have to submit the URL yourself. The tool is available inside the Control Panel under the Submission to Search Engine menu. This service is free of charge.

We also offer you premium submission to Search Engine that guarantees submission to Search Engine with few other great features. There are some fees associated with those services. The premium submission tool is available inside the Control Panel under the Advance Submission menu.

10. Can I forward my e-mail to another e-mail account?

Yes. Our e-mail forwarder does exactly that. Log in first at the Customer Login page and choose the Mail Manager from the main menu and select Create E-mail Forwarding. You can specify the address that you want your e-mail to be forwarded to. You can change this address at any time.

11. What does the Control Panel do?

The Control Panel provides an interface for subscribers to update or edit their accounts. At the Control Panel, subscribers can make changes to their accounts (eg: change password, write autoresponder text, etc). The User Guide is also available inside the Control Panel.

12. How can I promote my website?

There are many ways to advertise on the Web. Some commonly used methods include website submission to search engines and directories, banner exchanges and mailing lists. We currently offer website promotion via Submission to Search Engine and Advance Submission.

13. Our company does not have a TMnet account? Will we face difficulty in obtaining Web Hosting services?

A TMnet account is an Internet access account offered by Telekom Malaysia, a licensed Internet Service Provider (ISP). An Internet account allows access to the Internet and provides e-mail services, usually one e-mail account.

tnmet Web Hosting services allow customers to host their websites at our servers. Our servers are connected to the Internet as long as you have access to any computer with an Internet connection (not necessarily your own account). You can publish your website from the computer from any part of the world.

14. How would the POP e-mail address provided by Web Hosting appear?

The POP e-mail address provided by Web Hosting is in the form of user@yourcompany.com.my, not user@tm.net.my as some may have assumed.

15. Will I be charged if I request for the Web analysis and statistics report service?

No. The Web analysis and statistics report service is a standard feature for each of our Web Hosting packages. It is offered at no extra charge.
