Yang Berbahagia, Dato' Dr. Md Khir Bin Abdul Rahman the Chief Executive of Telekom Malaysia today launched the first application service under the Netmyne Web Application Services or Netmyne WASP.

Netmyne WASP provides Messaging and Web Collaboration Services that are inherent applications in the ASP services industry. Targeted for corporations, SMEs/SMIs and business communities, the features available include email, netmeeting, calendaring, personal workspace, group workspace, directory services, contacts and instant messaging. Netmyne WASP utilizes Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server and Windows 2000 solution.

Netmyne which was launched on November 1, 1999, provides web hosting, server hosting and co-location, community hosting, media hosting and commerce hosting services.

Since its introduction to the market, Netmyne has acquired 3000 web hosting, server hosting and commerce hosting customers.

Netmyne now has 4 data centers with a total space of 11,000 square feet of hosting facilities which can cater for 300 servers at any one time.

The introduction of Netmyne WASP sees Netmyne moving towards total online solution and servies.

Netmyne WASP delivered by Telekom Multimedia together with Microsoft and Hewlett Packard marks a synergistic collaboration of infrastructure, software and hardware providers with long-established track record in the telecommunications and internet industry.

With the launch of Netmyne WASP, Telekom Multimedia is now the only provider of this Microsoft Exchange 2000 outsourced online application in Malaysia.
