TM Multimedia introduces Netmyne
Business to Business (B2B) eMarketplace for Telekom Malaysia 1s
vendors

Lumpur, July 17th, 2001 - TM Multimedia today introduced its
Netmyne B2B (Business to Business) suite of marketplace solutions
at a seminar conducted for Telekom Malaysia1s vendors as a part
of Telekom Malaysia1s contribution in catalysing e-commerce in
Malaysia.
Netmyne's
B2B eMarketplace comprise a total suite of solutions for online
transactions, which integrates eprocurement, epayment and efulfillment.
Netmyne B2B eMarketplace is initially for Telekom Malaysia1s 200
vendors.
With
these online solutions, Telekom Malaysia1s Procurement Division
as the Anchor Buyer will be able to manage and monitor its procurement
online while the vendors will be able to transact and receive
their payments online.
Netmyne
B2B eMarketplace is a one-stop and comprehensive suite of eMarketplace
solutions that incorporates value added services and working processes.
With Netmyne B2B eProcurement functionality, Telekom Malaysia
will be able to lower its procurement costs, activate faster cycle
time, improve control over buying and provide better reporting
information. It will also help Telekom Malaysia to further improve
its supply chain management and quality of purchasing decisions.
The
Netmyne B2B eMarketplace will also be integrated to Telekom Malaysia1s
key back office systems to improve efficiency. The Netmyne B2B
eMarketplace payment solution is also integrated with several
major local banks1 eBanking facility. With this integration, Telekom
Malaysia will be able to improve its relationship with the vendors.
The banking links ensures trustworthiness between the buyers and
suppliers.
Vendors
will also be able to use Netmyne B2B eFulfillment solution to
manage their logistics and warehouse requirements. The Netmyne
B2B eFulfillment solution will be able to track and trace their
delivery and at the same time manage product returns. Unlike many
other eFulfillment solution, Netmyne B2B eFulfillment solution
will be supported by logistic companies, fowarders, courier service
providers and warehouses. Effectively this assists the vendors
in improving efficiency.
The
integration of solutions serving 3 key components (buyer, banking
& vendor) based on their intrinsic need allows Netmyne B2B to
handle comprehensive offerings to the market. Although initially
for Telekom Malaysia1s vendors, it will later be offered to all
business that intends to improve the business efficiency.
Speaking
at the opening of seminar, Baharum Salleh, Chief Operating Officer

this introduction, TM Multimedia is the first entity in Malaysia

fulfillment and payment components in an eMarketplace.This effort
is anticipated to further catalyse the growth of e-commerce in
